A secret beauty in Penfield is Graham Creek as it winds its way to the wetland of Irondequoit Bay. There are many small waterfalls and one big one as it cuts a gorge into the landscape as it carries the water to the bay area.
Canal at Schoen Place, originally uploaded by stevebabbitt. Once used for transporting grain and produce to the markets, the canal is still busy today with boating and pleasure cruises. On the right you can see the Sam Patch cruise boat.
